My new super strategy

October 5, 2025

678Years of Freedom Created

I usually keep things pretty simple with my investing.

I aim for minimal hassle, low fees, high long term certainty, and a solid return on effort (not just dollars invested).

Despite that, I’ve just changed my super strategy in a pretty big way.

It’s one of the most important tweaks to my long term investing strategy in a long time – and I expect it to have a seven-figure benefit over the next 30 years.

In my latest article, I explain exactly what I’m doing and why.

It might seem a little unusual at first, but there’s a lot to unpack and I believe it makes a lot of sense.

STRONG MONEY PODCAST

It’s time for the third instalment of Making Big Money from Little Changes.

In this podcast, I cover another four simple tweaks that are worth close to $1 million dollars over 20 years.

We look at an investment tweak, a housing optimisation, a simple income boost, and a different way to approach travel.

Some of my strategies go against conventional wisdom, but they’re all surprisingly simple to implement.

THOUGHTS OF THE WEEK

Once you reach financial independence, you can always scale up your lifestyle from a position of strength. Most people do it backwards – they want everything now and wonder why they can never get ahead.

We live in an overstimulated world where people are uncomfortable being alone with their thoughts for 5 seconds. Spare moment? Pull out phone. No wonder people feel stressed and overwhelmed. Give your mind time to slow down and process or you’ll never find peace and clarity.

How most ppl approach life: Look at what everyone else does. Accept it. Then follow the safe, well-worn path. My approach to life has been the opposite: Look at what everyone else does. Question it. Then figure out my own path even if nobody else seems to be doing it.
