THOUGHTS OF THE WEEK
For all the excuses that get thrown around, the biggest reason people don’t change their lives is that they’re too comfortable. They aren’t frustrated enough about their situation to actually change it. The status quo is seen less painful than working towards an uncertain outcome.
Don’t complain about not having the results you want if you aren’t willing to do what others have done to get those same results.
Fitting in and being liked by everyone is overrated. Think about it: when we see people being themselves, living as they please without concern for fitting in, we respect them more. There’s something compelling about someone doing exactly what they want. It represents courage, independence, and often leadership.
