End of financial year is almost here.
So what should long-term investors actually be thinking about right now?

STRONG MONEY PODCAST
Die With Zero is an incredibly popular book.
It’s probably the most talked about finance book of the last 5 years, especially in the financial independence community.
After reading the book, I don’t agree with everything – but there are some key lessons that are worth taking seriously.
In the latest podcast, I share my takeaways from Die With Zero and how they apply to the FIRE community

THOUGHTS OF THE WEEK
Most people are basically programmed. How they work. How they live. How they spend. How they think. All driven by media, their parents, their peer group and society. Being a self-directed individual doesn’t come naturally. But only YOU have the capacity to make it happen.
I remember being 18, working for 3 months, getting hit with bills and saving nothing. I was angry. All that work. Weeks of my life gone. For zero progress. I don’t know how people do it for decades and accept it.
Financial freedom comes in two parts: finance and freedom. The money part is simple. It’s just numbers and actions. Freedom is harder. It’s uncertainty, confusion, and a mild existential crisis. What do I do with my life? What matters? How do I make the most of my situation to avoid future regret?
(By the way, I’m covering every single aspect of the challenges, experiences and opportunities of living a freedom-based lifestyle in my second book. Can’t wait to share it with you!)
